HEALTECH GIpro X-type digital gear indicator installation
(Aprilia RSV 1000 year 2006)
Before installing this Harness Kit, please make sure you got the right parts for your bike.
Step 1. Locate 3-pole speed sensor connector and 2-pole rear brake light switch connector. Both are to be found in dust boot behind coolant reservoir tank.

Step 2. After separating the Speed Sensor coupler, plug in both the male and female 3-pole GIpro harness connectors. Make sure the connectors are fully seated.
Step 3. Connect the GIpro Red wire to a switched +12V wire, e.g. to the rear brake light switch connector. Use the Red wire tap connector supplied.
Step 4. Black/Green wire should be guided between both cylinder heads to the opposite side of the motorbike.

Step 5. Find the 2-pole black color plug of the Crankshaft position sensor (Pickup coil). It has two wires coming from the crankcase. Normally you may use either of these wires. If you have a wiring diagram for the motorcycle, use the positive (+) wire from the pickup coil.
Connect the GIpro Black/Green wire to this bike wire, using the Red wire tap connector supplied.

Step 6. Route GIpro harness towards fuse box. Connect the 4-pole GIpro harness connector to the GIpro display connector. (marked with green ellipse on picture below)
Step 7. Peel off the green plastic from the back of the unit, and mount the display.
Step 8. Check whether everything is installed and working properly:
- Select Neutral and turn ignition On. The GIpro display should count from 6 to 1, then “L” flashes slowly.
- Start the engine. “L” should flash faster for a few seconds.
- Select Neutral and turn ignition On. The GIpro display should count from 6 to 1, then “L” flashes slowly.
- Start the engine. “L” should flash faster for a few seconds.
